Bimmer of the Year is going to be decided a little bit differently this year. Instead of a (mostly) unrigged democratic process at the end of the year via The Bimmies, Bimmer of the Year will be based on meritocracy. There will be 5 different categories that will decide who is the Gayest Bimmer Of THem All. Posting: Y'all may have noticed the new bot we've had for a while called Statbot. Well, like NSA-chan, its been watching and collecting statistics about posting and other metrics in WTT (and BB), but in a much more user friendly form. The first category then is post count but also cost quality. Spamming CANOE every hour wont get you anywhere. (To make the competition fair, only posts after today, July 1st, will count, and as such Ill stop doing the 6 lines to say one thought posting style Ive done to make things fair) Voice/Gayming: Again, Statbot is our boy here. The AFK channel is not counted, and just idling by yourself jerking off to futa porn wont get you anywhere. However, active participation in game nights and general bantering and shooting the shit will. Recruitment: Here's the big one. Dragging more people into this blessed mess will severely increase your standings. The caveat here of course is they need to be active posters and participants, inviting a bunch of sock puppet accounts doesnt count. Nitro Boosting: Boost the server nibbas Vote: And of course, muh democracy. Bimmer of the Year will still be a category on The Bimmies vote in December, and will be weighted accordingly So heres how the points will be weighted: Posting: 20pts for Gold, 10pts for silver, 5pts for bronze posters every month, to be tallied at the end of the month. Voice: 30pts for Gold, 20pts for silver, 10pts for bronze posters every month, to be tallied at the end of the month. Recruitment: 15pts for every active member recruited Nitro Boosting: 15pts a month for every booster Bimmies Vote: 50pts for first place, 30pts for 2nd, and 15pts for 3rd in the final vote. Yeah but why should I give a fuck about this gay shit? Because, the winner of Bimmer of the Year will receive a prize worth 100$-200$. We haven't decided what yet, but it will be good and will be worth the time invested. Also you get to spend time with your friends and help grow our community, which is its own reward! Addendum: BB is mostly exempt from this, however, in the event of a close race, will be taken into consideration.
