counterpoint: it's better than cottage cheese furthermore, if you get a brick of cream cheese and pour a good chunky salsa over it (none of that tex-mex pace picante bullshit) it makes a top-tier "dip" for tortilla chips it's also pretty important for cheesecake which has grown on me and cream cheese frosting which is the only frosting really worth fucking with edit: without cream cheese, bagels would just be gross jew bread
