I'll detail + add things as they become relevant. 1. Game Difficulty is currently set to Easy, at least until people get their feet wet. 2. Morph abilities are enabled, including bat flight. However, you must kill the Wither to gain access to Morph ability flight. 3. PvP is disabled in the main world. We will, however, eventually add a PvP-enabled Mystcraft age. 4. Mob Griefing is disabled -- to keep creepers from wrecking your stuff. We may re-enable this later as people start with Wither spawning areas for balance purposes.
